The landscape for medical cnnbs is changing quickly.

DEA registration has opened, and early filing could be critical for maintaining operations during the transition.
At NHCC, we encourage our community to stay proactive, stay informed, and seek legal guidance if you have any uncertainty.

We’re here to support Latino operators navigating this next phase, visit our Blog for more information.

MMJ’s reclassification to Schedule III marks meaningful federal progress, but equity cannot be an afterthought.

This shift has the potential to expand patient access, unlock economic opportunity, and legitimize the role of cnnbs in healthcare. Without intentional policy, Latino operators and communities risk being left behind again.

At NHCC, we are focused on what comes next:

• Protect all state-legal operators
• Expand access to capital for Latino-owned businesses
• Invest in workforce development and pathways to ownership
• Ensure a fair and competitive marketplace

Progress is happening, but progress must be inclusive.

NHCC continues to be the voice for economic empowerment for Latinos in the cnnbs industry, and we are committed to building an ecosystem where our communities do not just participate, but lead.

The future of cnnbs must reflect all of us.

Today, on Farmworkers Day, we honor the hands that cultivate, nurture, and sustain not only our food systems, but our cnnbs industry as well.

Too often, cnnbs workers are left out of the broader conversation around farm labor, despite being essential to the growth and integrity of this industry. Many of the individuals who power cnnbs cultivation are farmworkers, and their contributions deserve to be recognized, protected, and celebrated.

At the National Hispanic Cnnbs Council (NHCC), we remain committed to advancing Latino and Hispanic participation across every facet of the legal cnnbs industry. From education and economic empowerment to policy advocacy, our work is rooted in addressing the longstanding underrepresentation of our community and creating pathways for equity, leadership, and opportunity.

We see and value cannabis farmworkers and their work does not go unnoticed.

If you’re interested in learning more about our work and impact, we invite you to connect with us.

Happy Farmworkers Day. 🌱
