Celebrate the vibrant Native American culture of Aurora by joining us for our first Powwow!
Join us at the Plains Conservation Center for Aurora’s first traditional powwow! This community gathering is an opportunity to experience and celebrate Native American culture through song, dance, vendors, and shared connection.
The powwow will take place from 11 a.m.–6 p.m., with Grand Entry beginning at 12 p.m. Guests of all ages are welcome. Please bring chairs, sun protection, and water. Parking is limited, so carpooling or using a rideshare is encouraged.
This is an alcohol-free event.

Additionally, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the Colorado Native Outreach Project food pantr to support local and surrounding Indigenous families.
We are in need of the following items:
- Canned Meats: Tuna, chicken, salmon, soups, stews, and beans.
- Staples: Rice, flour, oats, pasta, and cornmeal.
- Healthy Options: Dried fruits, nuts, and low-sodium canned vegetables.
Items can be dropped off at the CNOP tent. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
