The 50th reunion for the Colorado Brighton High School Class of 1972 was held the weekend of August 12 – 13, 2022.
Approximately 25 people attended the gathering on Friday, August 12th. 57 people (classmates and guests) attended the buffet dinner on Saturday, August 13th.
We posted the reunion details on this page, on the Brighton Alumni web site, and on the MyEvent.com/BHSclassof1972reunion web page. There were very few registrations by mid-to-late July so we sent emails to classmates that we had an email address for. Then, using the address list from our 40-year class reunion in 2012, we mailed letters the last week of July. Unfortunately, we didn't have and couldn't find mailing addresses for approximately half of our classmates. We apologize if you did not receive a letter.
In an effort to update our mailing address list for any future mailings, we would appreciate all 1972 BHS classmates send an email with their current USPS mailing address, email address and cell phone number to: [email protected].
Several classmates suggested that the next reunion be held in 2027 (55 years). If you want to be involved in the planning for the next reunion, please send an email to: [email protected]

Main Reunion Event
Date: Saturday, August 13, 2022
Time: 6:00 pm
Location: Copper Rail Bar and Grill - 174 South Main Street, Brighton, Colorado (located at the northeast corner of South Main and East Egbert Streets.)
August 13th Meal menu: Buffet-style barbeque dinner consisting of pulled pork, smoked chicken, potato salad, baked beans, slider buns, fresh rolls
Cost: $36.00 per person includes the cost of dinner, gratuity (20%) and sales tax (8.75%) Drinks are NOT included in this cost.
Cash bar: All Drinks purchased on your own.
Registration and Advance payment required: Register and buy your ticket(s) at www.MyEvent.com/BHSclassof1972reunion using a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card. No other bank cards are accepted.
Deadline to register on MyEvent.com: August 2, 2022
Parking: There are two (2) parking areas for Copper Rail Bar & Grill. One parking area is located on the east side of Copper Rail off South Cabbage Avenue. The second parking area is located west of Copper Rail at the Brighton Pavilions Shopping Center. From South Main Street, turn west onto East Egbert Street and go two blocks to the Brighton Pavilions public parking lot.

Date: Friday, August 12, 2022
Time: Any time after 6:00 pm.
Location: Flood Stage Ale Works – 170 South Main Street, Brighton, Colorado, located adjacent to Copper Rail Bar & Grill to the north. Both indoor and outdoor seating.
Cost: Purchase food and/or drink at your own expense at Flood Stage Ale Works.
No registration or pre-payment required for attendance on August 12, 2022.
Parking: Flood Stage Ale Works parking is the same as for Copper Rail Bar & Grill (see parking information above.)
