The Harvest Moon occurs at the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox each year. The hike includes about 2,500ft over 7.75 miles(round trip) with an average summit time of about 2-2.5hrs. With very cold temps at the summit it's often the first reminder of the upcoming ski season.
