Juneteenth reminds us that progress does not happen on its own. It is shaped by people, sustained by resources, and strengthened through collective action.

That understanding is at the heart of BRIC's work. Since 2020, we have worked to help ensure Black-led and Black-serving organizations have access to the funding and support needed to create lasting impact across Colorado.

Join us in advancing that vision. Make a gift today at bricfund.org.

For six years, BRIC has helped fuel the vision, leadership, and impact of Black-led and Black-serving organizations across Colorado.

This June, you have an opportunity to help that work go even further. Every donation made during our anniversary campaign will be matched up to $25,000—doubling the investment in the people and organizations creating lasting change in Black communities.

When you give, you're helping strengthen a movement rooted in equity, opportunity, and collective impact.

Make your gift today at bricfund.org and help build what’s possible for the next six years and beyond.

Funding is about more than just a check—it’s about the freedom to grow. For From the Heart, the BRIC Fund provided the essential capacity building to move from wearing every hat to expanding their reach. With a frequent community presence, this support allowed for a dedicated program director, preventing the organization from shrinking and ensuring they can thrive in the environments they serve.

Support for Black-led work shows up in many ways—but not all of them create lasting impact.

Some forms of support meet immediate needs, while others help build long-term stability, growth, and sustainability for organizations doing the work every day.

For those doing the work, this is everyday reality.

Nonprofit leadership often means shifting between roles—strategy, operations, community engagement, and everything in between—often without enough support or resources.

It’s demanding work that requires care, resilience, and constant adaptation.

💬 If this resonates with you, share your experience in the comments or tag someone who understands this reality.
