AAN Creation
AAN was formed to give African American team members, their families, and allies a place to hear each other’s stories and begin to build a community here at Dish. The group’s purpose is to provide support, enhance career development, and contribute to personal growth in the work environment. We kicked AAN off on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in 2019, with a fair for employees to learn more about the new group and find impactful volunteer opportunities. Thank you to all of the volunteers for making this launch a success and a special thanks to Janet Gipson, VP, Talent Acquisition and AAN Executive Sponsor and David Scott, EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer for speaking!
