On Wednesday, May 27, we were honored to host a Navajo Voter Registration Event focused on helping Navajo citizens register to vote for the upcoming Navajo Nation election. We welcomed representatives from the Navajo Nation Election Administration, who traveled from Shiprock, NM, as well as Micki Wildcat, Tribal Relations Specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau.

The event was coordinated by Louvannina Tsosie, a Navajo citizen and Lead Relationship Guidance Specialist with the Kinship & Commitment Program (KCP), with the support of Director Nehemiah Tsosie. Together, they worked to bring voter education and registration resources directly to the community.

If you were unable to attend the event but would like assistance with Navajo Nation voter registration, please contact Louvannina Tsosie. She is now a registered voter registrar and is available to help eligible voters complete the registration process and answer questions.

Thank you to everyone who attended and took an important step toward making their voices heard in the upcoming election
