The Mauna Aloha chapter of Fraternal Order of Moai is so honored to have won the inaugural chapter fundraising challenge! Last week at Ohana Luau at the Lake we were presented with a stunning trophy that has just arrived back in Colorado. Many thanks to everyone who took part in our December giving challenge- and remember, it's for the kids!

Well, it's that time again! Another snuck-in-under-the-wire Meet Your Moai. This time, we're introducing TikiMama, our Tagata Tapa Ta’u (Secretary.) Having just passed her second FOMiversary, TikiMama does her best to keep a record of our business and also our shenanigans, and you may also recognize her as the one who asks you for donations to our annual raffle. Speaking of which... don't forget the Luau at the Lost Lagoon is only 53 days away! Get your tickets and get ready for a great time!

Did May almost get by without us introducing another member of Mauna Aloha? Yes- but- only ALMOST! Please meet our one and only Paniolo Paul. He found his way to Ohana through music, and to us in Colorado by way of New England! We're lucky to have his know-how and expertise as part of OUR chapter now- sorry, QueeQueegs!

It's almost the end of March, so it's definitely time to Meet Your Moai!

Stepping up to the plate this month we have... Castaway Kevin! Perhaps you've met him at one of our summer events, or run into him at Disneyland? If so you know he's simply a great guy, who gets things done! Kevin has stepped up to fill in as our VP for the remainder of this year, and is an integral part of our FOMily.

Wait, is it halfway through February already? Guess that means it's time to introduce you to our Fellow of the Month, King Kahuna. You've probably experienced his legendary, award-winning hospitality already. But did you know he's also our Avahata, our Treasurer, who manages our monies and does our math for us? A man of many talents, and we're lucky he shares them with his FOMily!
