In honor of Black History Month, we recognize Marlin Briscoe. Nicknamed "The Magician," he became the first Black starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos in 1968.

Kicking off by celebrating legend Gene Mingo, who made Denver Broncos history when he became the first African-American kicker in the league in 1960. That same year, Mingo scored their first points at Empower Field at Mile High, then called Bears Stadium, with an 18-yard field goal.
