Satellite imaging is so sophisticated that it can help identify ' emergence, growth patterns, quantity and quality, and termination on farmers’ fields! Sensing wavelengths much longer and shorter than those humans can see, satellites gather data that PSA staff use to support cost-sharing programs and make our cover crop decision support tools easier for farmers to use.
