We are excited to launch a FREE social skills pilot program for kids ages 6-16 who reside in Denver City. The program aims to provide children with disabilities the opportunity to practice and improve their social skills, community safety awareness, appropriate behavior in public settings, and communication. We aim to help them apply and master these skills in real community settings. Only requires a one day commitment.
We are pleased to have Amanda Weniger, LMSW, as the Program Coordinator for this program. She can help answer any questions you may have!

Attention Denver County and Douglas County families with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities:

We are launching a pilot program for an Intensive Therapeutic Social Group Program for Denver kids ages 7-16. Our program goals are to take kids with disabilities into community settings to practice and refine social skills, community safety awareness, appropriate behavior in the community, and communication. We see kids practicing these skills within their therapy sessions and now with this program, we can generalize these skills into a community setting. This will help support kids with taking their skills to a mastery level.

For more information and to see if your child is appropriate for the program, contact Therapies for Hope at [email protected] or 720-464-6446.
