The BRIC Fund is proud to support Black maternal health initiatives – working toward a future where Black mothers receive the care they deserve and Black families thrive across Colorado. The Gyedi Project is closing gaps in Black maternal health through community-rooted care. Their HearMe20 program offers culturally responsive education and support, designed to enhance maternal health outcomes among Black women in Colorado.

For those of us working in health equity, knowing that our partners stand firm with us is both reassuring and necessary. May we all continue to find and cultivate these steadfast partnerships—because the work is too critical to do alone.
To fellow organizations navigating these uncertain times: Keep going. Keep building. And know that support exists, even in the hardest moments.

Thank you for your support Telligen Community Initiative.

GYEDI'S CIRCLE OF HEARTS PRESENTS:

A Heartfelt Conversation on Women’s Health
Join us for an intimate evening of healing, empowerment, and connection. The World Health Organization recommends that all adults get a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate physical activity (PA) and 75 minutes of vigorous PA per week, but just over half of Americans were meeting this goal as of 2018. This proportion decreases much more with age, and is consistently lower for non-Hispanic Black Americans.
