SWEEPS week of 9/20-9/24/21
SWEEPS next week are on Tuesday 9/21 at E. 23rd Avenue to the North, N. Clarkson Street to the East, E. 20th Avenue to the South, Park Avenue West to the Southwest, and Court Place to the Northwest; Wednesday 9/22 at Arkins Court to the Northwest, 31st Street to the Northeast, Brighton Blvd / N. Broadway to the Southeast, Wewatta Street to the South, and Denargo Street to the West Thursday 9/23 at E. 17th Avenue to the North, N. Marion Street to the East, E. Colfax Avenue to the South, and N. Ogden Street to the West. This is the immaculate encampment outside of DHOL offices that have all public health concerns mitigated by the organization in the building.
The SWEEPS will begin each day at 5 a.m.
Please bring the following things to assist residents:

-Truck, or any vehicle to help move
-Carts
-Bungee Cords
-Rope
-Trash Bags
-Food
-Coffee/Cocoa
-Water
Please come and support our unhoused community members as they demand real housing or places where they are allowed to survive.

Heads up !

REMINDER | The Cherry Creek Trail is currently under construction at Iliff & Quebec, detouring trail users onto the new secondary trail on the east side of the creek.
Please use caution along the detour at all times:

· Remain on the designated trail at all times
· Follow all detour signage at all times
· Follow all traffic signals to cross Quebec Street
· Do not cross any construction fences, barriers or signage
· Keep to the right and use caution at all times, especially when passing others
· If you need to stop, pull over onto the gravel shoulder, out of the main path of travel
· Follow the speed limit of 15mph and slow down as needed to maintain a safe environment for all users

Friendly update/reminder...
Some RNOs have Bylaws that require their members to be "Members in Good Standing" for a certain period of time prior to their Membership Meeting for elections.

Go to: bit.ly/RNOdenver to find your local RNO, and then see if you have a membership deadline.

For example: if the meeting is in December, & there is a 90 day membership requirement, that deadline may be approaching.
