HELLO GRADUATES!

While resistance and student advocacy will still be very much alive at DU after this year, our class would like to pressure the administration one last time. Please fill out this form if you would like DIVCOM to provide you with a No More Pios cap stencil to wear in solidarity with RAHR demands at graduation.

Hey RAHR, where have you been?

We may have taken a short break from social media, but we haven't gone away! Here are just a few examples of what we've been working on since we've been away:

We met with the University of Denver Board of Trustees to discuss permanent removal of the moniker and implementation of all our demands. We’ve collaborated with  Faculty Senate to garner faculty support, including a formal motion to support our demands. We worked with the Cultural Center to research how name changes and student demands at other institutions have been successfully implemented. And we’ve planned a teach-in for Saturday, February 20th.

After sending out an inadequate and harmful email on October 21, 2020, the chancellor has refused to revisit our demands. Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members have gone to great lengths to make their voices heard but the university refuses to listen.

It's time to get louder.

Step One - Click the link titled "Email To Chancellor, Admin and Board of Trustees" in our Instagram Linktree.

Step Two - Change the subject line to something not affiliated with RAHR, NoMorePios, or student activism in general (Ex. “Tuition Raise?” “Spit Lab Inquiry,” “Possible Donor Request,” etc.)

Step Three - Add your two cents, sign your name, and press send!

Spread the word and get as many of your people to send the email as possible.

The campaign is officially over! Our goal was to get the attention of DU faculty and, as evidenced by the outpouring of faculty support and letters of solidarity, we were able to do just that. Thank you so much to everyone who participated! We encourage everyone to continue using this image in your profile pictures to spread awareness about RAHR and our demands, but please return to regular participation in class.
