The Association of Cameroonians in Colorado (ACC) is the largest, most prominent, and most consequential Cameroonian community association in the US state of Colorado. ACC or the Association of Cameroonians in Colorado has distinguished itself as the premiere organization for Africans, and Americans, of Cameroonian heritage in the Denver metro area. ACC is composed of an energetic, dynamic, and ca
ring group of individuals and their families who seek to make a difference in the world. The organization files periodic reports with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office to report on its activities and continued existence. The organization’s primary goal is to serve the community and to be an example of community service that goes beyond tribe, culture, nationality, race, or class. ACC members are mostly Americans and US permanent residents of Cameroonian or African descent, their friends, and their families, residing in the Denver metro area. The membership body of ACC also includes people of other nationalities, and ethnic origins, including many Americans, who identify with the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of the organization. ACC’s purpose seeks not only communal support but also business, educational, cultural, and civic participation for its members.
