Our Thanksgiving Outreach is happening November 22, 2026!

Last year, Over the Rainbow Nonprofit provided 30 Thanksgiving meals and care packs. This year, our goal is to serve 75 people—and we need your help to make it happen!

We’re seeking:

🍽️ Food and meal donations
🧼 Hygiene and care-pack items
💵 Monetary donations
🙋🏾‍♂️ Volunteers to prepare and distribute meals
🤝 Community partners and local businesses

Every donation—big or small—will help provide someone with a hot Thanksgiving meal, essential supplies, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.

🌈 Good Morning from Over the Rainbow (OTR)
Yesterday I shared my story and why I started OTR – Over the Rainbow Resource Center.
Today I just want to say thank you to everyone who has already shown support, encouragement, and love. This is just the beginning.
OTR is being built to create a safe, supportive space for people who are rebuilding their lives — whether that means re-entry after incarceration, homelessness, recovery, trauma, or simply trying to find their place in the world.
Our mission is simple:
🍽 Community meals
🥫 Food bank support
👕 Clothing bank resources
🩺 Health & STD/STI testing partnerships
🏠 Transitional housing for those starting over
This isn’t just an idea — this is a movement for community, stability, and second chances.

🌈 My Story. My Why. OTR.
My name is Devante Moss, and I created Over the Rainbow Resource Center (OTR) because I know what it feels like to be in a place where life feels heavy… where you feel alone, scared, and defeated.
There were times in my life where I had to pull myself up from dark places and figure things out with very little support. Those moments shaped me.
Not only am I gay, I’m also a Black man in America, and that comes with experiences and challenges that many people don’t always see or understand. I’ve faced things that tested my strength, my identity, and my purpose.
But those struggles gave me something powerful — empathy and understanding for others going through their own battles.
That’s why I started OTR.
OTR exists to create safe spaces, real support, and community for people who may feel like they have nowhere to turn.
A place where people are heard, respected, and supported without judgment.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to rebuild your life, find your identity, or start over — you are not alone.
OTR is here to remind people that even after the darkest storms, there is still hope.

🌈 Welcome to Over the Rainbow Resource Center (OTR) 🌈
We are proud to officially introduce OTR – Over the Rainbow Resource Center, a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to creating safe spaces, real support, and second chances for people rebuilding their lives.
OTR was created from lived experience and the belief that everyone deserves a place where they are seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
Our mission is to provide resources and community support for individuals facing life transitions, including:
• LGBTQ+ individuals seeking safe community
• People returning home after incarceration
• Veterans adjusting back to civilian life
• Individuals experiencing housing instability
• Anyone searching for guidance, healing, and belonging
Through community outreach, housing support, wellness resources, food programs, and mentorship, we aim to help people move forward with dignity and hope.
✨ Because we believe one thing:
Life truly does get better Over the Rainbow.
This is just the beginning. We are excited to grow, serve our community, and build something meaningful together.
