Colorado Water Congress POND Committee The POND Committee promotes Professional Outreach and Networking Development within the water community. Anyone can join the POND Committee.

The Colorado Water Congress POND (Professional, Outreach, Networking and Development) Committee facilitates the connection of water professionals of all ages and experience through industry outreach, networking opportunities and career development. It's an avenue for members to collaborate and get actively involved in the water community. POND plans get-togethers for the CWC Annual Convention and

Summer Conference, as well as speaking engagements and networking opportunities throughout the year. Water Congress membership is not required. The POND committee is comprised of individuals from a wide variety of water-related organizations and professions. CWC encourages all ages to consider participation. Whether new to the water community or an industry veteran, participation provides:

- Career advancement
- Professional growth
- Leadership development
- Mentor & Mentee opportunities

The Northern Colorado POND chapter is hosting its annual Colorado Eagles hockey game on Feb. 7! This is a great event and always fun. There will be a pre-game tour of Budweiser Events Center at 5:30 and the game starts at 7. Tickets are available here:

Applications for 2020 Water Leaders Program now open! Recognized as the premier professional development course for the water community in Colorado, WEco’s Water Leaders Program aims to positively impact the Colorado water profession by creating a pipeline of dedicated, effective water leaders across diverse fields who exemplify the four quadrants of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social management.
Each year we take our Water Leaders to interact in different parts of the state through four, 2-day program sessions. The 2020 class will be visiting Greeley, Redstone, Salida and Denver with class dates April through August.
