Indigenous people and cultures are not disposable! As our relatives in Palestine continue to be brutalized so is the Earth and it’s sacred gifts/treasures.

November is a time for Americans to remember the devastating patterns in history under white supremacy and colonization. Genocide is nothing new, and we know how that cookie crumbles into the ongoing suffering of all people, creatures, and the Earth. Without those who have ancestrally stewarded land/built deep ties and relationship to the Earth we are absolutely lost, our children destined to doom. History would not repeat itself if we accepted the harsh truths of our past and chose to learn from it instead of hiding in shame, fear, and defensiveness.

We mourn heavily for all who have and continue to be innocent victims (especially the children, land, and animals) caught within the wars fueled by colonization across the globe. We stand *firmly* for the liberation of oppressed people.

We’ve wrapped up the end of an era for our sweet little project this past weekend. (Big thanks to all who stepped in and supported our move!)

Over the last year we housed ourselves within a cozy church building off of 29th and Julian in Denver, CO… We hosted and held over 125 meaningful events organized by both our steering committee and our members and community! All of which were aligned in some capacity with our mission to foster climate and community resilience through centering land, liberation, spirit, and/or song.

Now, and unfortunately due to the patterns of gentrification and colonization, we’ve been displaced from our beautiful home church on 29th. BUT we’re resilient AF so we’re absolutely adapting and prepping for this new chapter! One that comes with righteous changes and updates for our organization and community. We can’t wait to share with you how and where we’re heading!

“Learn how to use plant medicine to improve lives and enhance the pleasures of Black people and people of color. We will explore using it in ritual and help mitigate undesired outcomes such as paranoia, dry mouth, and brain fog. Join educators Shanae Adams and Asia Dorsey in exploring the ritual of plant medicine in community.”

✨Our New Earth Events is a BIPOC led organization dedicated to creating intentional spaces to bridge the gap between all humans and planting the seeds for unity, community and equality for the Earth that we are creating. ✨

This Saturday 5/6 @ 2pm, join us for a day of community, vendors, and deliciousness in a space for all to gather, exchange energy, and plant the seeds of the future we are collectively building.

The intention is to support marginalized people in their growing businesses and ventures, because we believe that as one grows, we all grow together!
