July 4 celebration at the Boathouse in Washington Park will be held again this year on Saturday July 4th, from 11am to 1pm at the Washington Park Boathouse! This has been an extremely popular and well attended event, again hosted by both Washington Park East Neighborhood Association (WPENA) and West Washington Park Neighborhood Association!
We Need Your HELP!
Our beloved Washington Park July 4th Celebration depends on volunteers, and we are looking for a few strong helpers to assist with setup and cleanup on Saturday, July 4.
🌟 Morning Setup Crew
6:40 AM at the Boathouse
We need volunteers to help unload tables and chairs from the trailer and move them to the event site. The trailer must be cleared from the parking lot by 8:00 AM, so the more helping hands we have, the faster the work goes! Volunteers are also welcome to assist with setting up tables and the 12 canopy tents generously donated by neighborhood residents.
🌟 Afternoon Cleanup Crew
1:00 PM at the Boathouse
At the conclusion of the celebration, volunteers are needed to help take down the canopy tents and load tables and chairs back onto the trailer. Denver Parks & Recreation requires the Boathouse and surrounding area to be completely cleared by 2:00 PM.
❤️ Every Helping Hand Matters
Volunteers are critical to the success of this cherished community tradition. Whether you can help at the beginning, during, or at the end of the event, your time and support make a tremendous difference.
