Minutes from November 30, 2017
Call to order: 6:00 P.M. At Phil Mills Office
Board Members Present: Rick Wolf, Mike Gutiérrez, Randy Gutiérrez, Phil Mills and Jeff Alexander
On a motion by Rick Wolf and second by Jeff Alexander the minutes from the meeting march were approved
• Elected officers:
President: on a nomination by Rick Wolf and second by Jeff Alexander All in favor Phil Mills is elected.
Vice President: on a nomination by Rick Wolf and second by Jeff Alexander All in favor Randy Gutiérrez is elected.
Treasurer: on a nomination by Rick Wolf and second by Jeff Alexander All in favor Mark Adams is elected.
Membership Secretary: Rick wolf

• Treasurer’s Report
State Shoot Report-Nothing to report on Money in, Money out at this time.
Account balances- Nothing to report at this time (waiting on transfer of banking responsibilities to the new treasurer and president.)

Rick Wolf Will Continue to be in charge of CSSA web site activity.

Register clubs and officers with NSSA
Terms of directors.
• New Business
The site of the 2018 State shoot was discussed. Jeff Alexander and Phil Mills will be negotiating with Golden gun club. Also they will negotiate other registered shoots including the possibility of CSSA running some shoots and holding a benefit shoot.
Mike Gutierrez will pursue the update of the valario software.
New dates for the state shoot were discussed and at this time the dates that are being considered are July 20-22 and July 27-29.
The CSSA board is going to reach out to all clubs in Colorado with s***t ranges to see if we can generate more registered shoots for 2018.
Weld county submitted their dates for 2018.
August 12/13 North Platte Nebraska will be holding a Colorado/Nebraska shoot. The board would like to look into the possibility of holding a tri state shoot, Colorado/Nebraska/Wyoming, shoot as well.
Randy Gutierrez suggested a page for CSSA. It was pointed out that one exists but is not managed. Randy volunteered to pursue taking that page over and keeping shooters up to date via Facebook.
The board discussed new ways to bring in shooters to the association. Some examples were, to advertise on the radio through Terry Wickstrum to promote shoots, holding s***t shoots in the afternoon of sporting clays events to try and attract a few of those shooters and local hunter type class shoots.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50. The Next board meeting will be held December 9th or 16th at the golden gun club.
