Meet Dolly and Patch, a mother-son duo learning what it means to finally be home. 🤎
Dolly and her son Patch were found as strays and brought to the shelter together. Now, they’re settling into foster life in Denver, trading the uncertainty of life on the streets for cozy blankets, full bellies, and the chance to finally exhale.
Dolly is a beautiful, soft-hearted girl with the prettiest pale green eyes and pink nose. From the moment you meet her, you can see just how gentle, peaceful, patient, and intelligent she is. She’s house-trained, asks to go outside, and has quickly mastered the art of being a professional snuggler. Her favorite place to be is right beside you, or better yet, half on top of you. She welcomes affection from everyone, including kids, and even finds time for a little tug-of-war with her very active son. Dolly is a wonderful walking companion, too, happily exploring the neighborhood before heading home to her blanket and some well-deserved cuddles.
And Patch? This handsome boy is still growing into his big ears and big personality, with a sleek black coat, a little white marking on his muzzle, and tiny white-tipped toes. While he brings the playful puppy energy, Dolly brings the calm.
After everything these two have been through, they’re finally getting to experience the simple things every dog deserves: a soft place to land, a safe home, and people who care about them.
Dolly and Patch are ready for their next chapter. They can be adopted together or separately, but either way, we hope their forever families give them all the love, comfort, and security they deserve.
