The Southeast Florida Chapter of NIGP, Inc. Our members are purchasing officers, agents, buyers, managers and others associated with public sector procurement.

is a non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of the public procurement profession in the South Florida region. An affiliate of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), the chapter offers members the educational, professional development and networking opportunities they require to efficiently and ethically carry out their responsibilities. Chartered in 1990, our mission continues to inspire our activities and goals:

To promote ethical, efficient and cost-effective public purchasing policies and practices. To present educational programs, products and services for public purchasing personnel. To provide a vehicle for the exchange among members of useful information about policies, practices, procedures, products and services of common interest. To facilitate the conduct of purchasing activities by government and other public agencies. To provide assistance to other charitable and educational organizations in the conduct of similar activities. In addition to its chapter activities, SEFL NIGP also supports the South Florida Governmental Purchasing Group Co-operative, a regional organization of government agencies that provide cost savings and cost avoidances to member-entities by utilizing the buying power of combined requirements for frequently-purchased basic items.

A heartfelt thank you to all our chapter members who joined us for our quarterly chapter meeting! It was a wonderful event filled with engaging conversations, valuable insights, and plenty of fun. We appreciate your participation and enthusiasm, which made this educational and entertaining event such a success.

A special thank you to the City of Dania Beach for being such a wonderful host and providing the perfect setting for our gathering. We would also like to thank our guest speaker, Michelle Brown from Khalia Communications, for her insightful and engaging presentation. We truly appreciate the knowledge and expertise she shared with our members.
