We now have a studio/exhibition space in the Sante Fe art district :)

Commercial work is moving to Quakenbush Imaging, while WDIB will keep trucking with the more experimental stuff.

Better put on a fresh pot -- it's going to be a busy summer if you like to Drink it Black.

We're in preproduction on two shorts, an experimental feature length documentary, and wrapping up the script for a half hour disturbing fairy tale. And that's just our in-house work.

Add to that some spectacular new hardware courtesy of Black Magic (Could we shoot with anything else? Um, no.) plus a slew of fresh faces and move over El Nino, this summer's heat is coming down from the mile high city.

So stay tuned. We should have some fresh work to screen by mid summer -- if you're a watcher -- and calls for cast and crew if you're more of a doer.

Hey Facebook, what short-form project do you think we should start writing next?

- A fairytale about a murderous wizard and the victim who outsmarts him. Dexter meets Mother Goose.(http://www.wedrinkitblack.com/mephistolese.html)
- A campy/nostalgic sci-fi series that follows a couple trying to escape from a flying saucer populated by gigantic aliens "Escape from Outer Space."
- A coming-of-age monster movie about a photographer who inherits the task of defending humanity from a race of sneaky predators. (Untitled, but Patrick Sheridan might help us write this one -- please encourage him!!)

All three? Well.... okay.
