Join the Delaware City Library on Monday, Aug. 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for Knit for a Cause with DelaWarm.

Whether you knit, crochet, or simply want to help, you'll be creating handmade items that support unhoused individuals and children experiencing crisis.

Older teens and adults are welcome.

Did you know Fort DuPont was one part of a much larger coastal defense system?

Working alongside nearby Fort Delaware and Fort Mott, it helped protect the Delaware River and the industries and ports farther inland.

Today, visitors can still explore the landscape where that history unfolded.
