Congratulations to Ivan Dominguez, NLCUP’s October Latinx Credit Union Professional of the Month!

Nominated by his manager, Wayne Matsumura, Ivan serves as Director of Small Business Lending at Unitus Community Credit Union, where he has helped launch and grow a program that expands access to capital for small business owners in Oregon.

Ivan understands that supporting entrepreneurs starts with listening, building trust, and understanding their goals. As a fluent Spanish speaker, he helps Spanish-speaking business owners navigate their options with confidence and access the resources they need to grow.

His commitment to growth extends to his own journey. This June, Ivan earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Warner Pacific University, completing evening and weekend coursework while working full time. He also joined us at the NLCUP Conference to connect, learn, and help advance Latino representation in our industry.

Gracias, Ivan, for the care you bring to your work and for helping more entrepreneurs turn their ambitions into opportunities. We’re proud to celebrate you!
