Mosaic serves child headed orphan families- those who have lost mom and dad to AIDS. These orphans are living alone - with the eldest sometimes as young as 12 caring for 4 or 5 younger siblings. They are in extreme poverty, no caregiver, they have all dropped out of school due to lack of funds, food is scarce, healthcare is non existent, and a lot of them are HIV positive. THIS is the untold story
of AIDS and there are millions of children living like this. Mosaic Vision comes in to these families and hires widows to move into the children's home, allowing these orphans to become kids again. They go back to school, get access to food and healthcare, and they have community again. Mosaic works though and under the local church so that when the children look back they give Glory to God for their lives.
