Thank you to PIX 11 News for sharing the story of Troop 2014’s resilience and positivity in the face of adversity. This trailer donated by Mangano Family Funeral Homes and Family Florist will be used to help store camping equipment, outdoor activities gear, and any other appliances the troop needs .

It was a privilege for the team of Mangano Family Funeral Homes to be able to make a difference in our community and help Troop 2014 continue to build practical outdoor skills and leadership strategies.

Mangano Family Funeral Homes and Family Florist were honored to support Boy Scout Troop 2014 of West Babylon by donating a brand-new trailer. After their previous trailer was stolen earlier this year, the Scouts were left without essential camping and outdoor equipment.

We’re proud to help Troop 2014 get back on the trail and continue making memories, building skills, and serving their community.

Mangano Family Funeral Homes is proud to support The Butterfly Effect Project’s Garden Club.

Founded by Tijuana Fulford, The Butterfly Effect Project empowers and supports children and teens throughout Suffolk County by hosting chapters and programs that focus on healthy relationship development, self-care, confidence building, and critical thinking.

The Garden Club reinforces these values through the hands-on education of planting, weeding, and identification of plants, flowers, and herbs, encouraging teamwork, responsibility, patience, and a deeper appreciation for nature.

Through the Garden Club, children and teens have the opportunity to watch their efforts grow, both in the garden and within themselves

Mangano Family Funeral Homes believes honoring a veteran is about recognizing the service, sacrifice and love of the country that helped define their life.

As a lasting tribute to those who served, when a veteran’s family holds a wake at one of our funeral homes, we proudly fly the flag representing their branch of service alongside our American flag. On that day, we capture a photograph of the flag and create a special prayer card featuring the flag, the date it was flown, and the name of the veteran it was flown in loving memory of.

It’s a small gesture with a lasting meaning and a keepsake for the family to hold onto as a reminder of their loved one who dedicated part of their life to protecting others and serving our country.

Thank you to every veteran and every family who has carried the pride of their service. We are honored to remember them.

What a beautiful way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday while supporting a meaningful local cause.

Mangano Family Funeral Homes was happy to donate to Girl Scout Troop 1122’s Bronze Award project, which will build dog houses for animals at local shelters.

As part of the troop’s “Flag My Lawn” fundraiser, 250 American flags were proudly displayed across the lawns of our Deer Park funeral home, Family Florist and Sal Mangano’s home just around the corner. It was a truly special sight in celebration of Independence Day.

Thank you to Maribeth Baldwin, the troop’s dedicated leaders and all the Girl Scouts for making this wonderful project possible. We’re proud to support your hard work and generosity, and share your passion for giving back to our community.
