One of our very own is on the cover of Wise Living Magazine! ❤️
We couldn't be more excited to see our fellow Rotarian, Lannie Noble, featured in the October issue of Wise Living!
If you know Lannie, you know he is the true definition of Service Above Self. He is an instrumental part of keeping our Club running smoothly, and his dedication to our club and the Wise County community is nothing short of extraordinary.
Whether he's helping organize a Rotary project, building ramps, delivering meals, mentoring Scouts or supporting one of the many organizations he serves, Lannie is always willing to lend a hand.
And he does it all with a servant's heart, never seeking recognition.
It's no surprise that Lannie was recently honored with the prestigious 2025-26 Service Above Self Award from Rotary District 5790!
We are incredibly grateful for everything Lannie does, not just for our club, but for our entire community. We are fortunate to call him a fellow Rotarian and friend.
Congratulations, Lannie! This recognition is so well deserved!
Here it is, folks! 🍂
Every month I think, “This is my favorite cover,” but for October, that statement definitely rings true.
Introducing our October Feature, Lannie Noble!
If you don’t know Lannie, you need to meet him. And if you do know Lannie, you already know exactly what I’m talking about.
You can find him enjoying breakfast at a local spot pretty much every morning, at Grace Fellowship on Sunday, serving the community thru the Decatur Rotary Club, building a ramp on a Saturday, helping with Scouting America, delivering meals or serving with WCCA - Meals On Wheels Wise County…the list goes on and on and ON.
Lannie is the epitome of Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” and he truly lives it. He is one of those people who quietly shows up, serves others and makes our community better simply because he believes it’s what we are called to do.
His own motto says it best: Be The Good.
I’m so honored to share Lannie’s story with all of you, and even more honored to call him my friend.
If you know Lannie, share this post so even more people can get to know the man behind the service. ❤️
