DeRidder High School Rodeo Club Meetings & Rodeo Prep begin each January. The DeRidder High School Rodeo is a long standing member of the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association.

The DeRidder High School Rodeo Club, established in the 1960s by the DeRidder Rodeo Assoc., promotes rodeo, sportsmanship, and Western heritage while fostering youth involvement throughout Beauregard Parish. The DeRidder High School Rodeo Club was formed by the DeRidder Rodeo Association over 50 years ago, dedicated to fostering youth involvement in the sport. The mission of the DeRidder High School Rodeo Club is to promote the sport of rodeo and the highest level of conduct and sportsmanship and to expose its positive image to the general public. It also seeks to preserve the Western heritage, and to offer opportunities for family bonding, as well as for continuing education, all while maintaining the highest standards of care for livestock. The organization traces its roots back to 1960, when the DeRidder Rodeo Association held its first high school rodeo. The creation of the Junior High Division in 2004, for students in grades 5 through 8, brought in still more students. Additionally, the DeRidder Rodeo Association organizes, manages, awards and pays out scholarships at it’s annual rodeo held each spring at the Beauregard Covered Arena. To become a member, feel free to message our page for information. Club Meetings & Sponsorships begin in January each year.

🇺🇸🤠 Let’s Rally Around One of Our Own! 🤠🇺🇸

If you’ve attended a DeRidder High School Rodeo event, chances are you’ve heard the familiar voice of Mr. Joe DeKeyzer bringing excitement and energy to the arena. Joe has spent countless hours supporting our young cowboys and cowgirls, and now it’s our turn to support him.

Join the 4th of July Team Roping Bash at West Cal Arena and stay for the Live Auction beginning at 4:00 PM, with proceeds benefiting Mr. Joe. There will be great food, fun, fellowship, and some incredible auction items! Including fishing trips, hunting adventures, an Argentina dove hunt, coolers, fire pits, and more!

❤️ We love Mr. Joe and all he has done for our rodeo family. Let’s pack the arena, bid generously, and show him just how much this community cares.

🇺🇸 Be sure to go support Mr. Joe DeKeyzer this Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🐴🎆
