The Caring and Sharing Pantry, Inc. board members would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Mrs. Jean Prange for her years of devoted service to the pantry as a co-organizer and later Director. She and Mrs. Betty Cotner identified a need in our community to establish a food pantry to assist families and individuals in our community with food insecurities. With their leadership since 2012 and the ongoing financial support from our local churches, civil organizations, and generous donations from individuals within the community, the pantry continues to flourish and has served hundreds of families in south Arkansas County, Arkansas. Mrs. Prange will continue to serve as a lifetime board member in an advisory capacity and volunteer when available at the pantry. MaryNell Whitmore was elected to succeed Mrs. Prange as Director, while Linda Gunnell will serve as Assistant Director. We thank you, Mrs. Jean, for your selfless dedication. You are a true servant and we hold you in high esteem. The Caring and Sharing Pantry is located at 226 Court Square in DeWitt, Arkansas, and is open on the second and fourth Tuesday and Thursday of each month from 11:30am until 12:30pm. As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, it is solely supported by the generous donations from our community.
