I attended the Autism Society of North Carolina Annual Conference yesterday as both parent and a professional and founder of an autism foundation.

I was able to connect with so many lovely parents and autistic individuals, and seeing again the dedication of my colleagues and support providers who enter this field out of passion and desire to help these children and families find the necessary resources for their families needs. Thank you to ASNC for giving us space to share and connect. 💙💚

Today the BVA Foundation does what it loves best! Giving to others in our neurodiverse community 🥳🫶🏻.
We took a field trip to Wake Harvest Summer camp to meet the amazing Jessica Rivera-Vasquez and her team. Wake Harvest was donated a check from BVA for $1200 as part of our Summer Scholarship Program !! 🥳❤️

This sweet summer camp and social skills group is doing some great work with inclusive activities and programs. Wake Harvest provides 1:1 support for those students who need additional assistance as well as a Counselor In Training program for high school students!! https://wakeharvest.com/

What a lovely morning! We were so honored and grateful to accept the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit of the Year Award for 2025.

Thank you so much Tonya Palumbo, Executive Director and the chamber members who voted for our humble foundation. 💙🥲

Little did we realize almost 10 years ago when we started with The Holly Springs Autism Acceptance Day Event that we would grow into a community that wpuld grow larger every year.
Our Summer Scholarship Program and our First Responders Training along with our annual Autism Acceptance Day event truly is our passion.
As parents raising a child with autism we know it truly takes a community that stands not behind you, but together with you. 🥰
That is how you truly go further.

This week the Brady Valcho Autism Foundation was the proud recipient of a $500 check from the Holly Springs Rotary Club😍 Along with Holly Springs Police North Carolina & Holly Springs Fire Department helped raise money with the The Blood Connection to donate to us.

Your contribution continues our work here in the community to support families with autistic loved ones and children find resources, and help our Summer Scholarship Program send autistic children to local summer camps and our FREE Autism Sensory Tool Bags!
