Nick's Mission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides nutritious food to children in our area schools and daycares on the weekends and holidays throughout the school year. Nick's Mission Backpack Program was founded in honor and memory of a precious 8-year-old little boy, Nick Shumake, who tragically lost his life along with his grandparents in a flash flood at Albert Pike Campground
on June 11, 2010, along with seventeen others. It is our goal that no child goes home without something to eat. Without proper nutrition children suffer in so many ways.
