Today, the members of the Kiuka Volunteer Fire Department pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice are woven into the very freedoms we enjoy each day.

As families gather, grills spark to life, and flags wave in the warm May breeze, we remember that Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a day of gratitude, reflection, and remembrance for those who never made it home.

From all of us at Kiuka Volunteer Fire Department, we thank our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. ❤️🤍💙
