Angel Gowns Of SWGA

Angel gowns of SWGA is a volunteer organization sewing angel gowns. The the gowns are sewn from donated wedding dresses. This is not a registered non profit.

They are freely given to hospitals and funeral homes for grieving parents. Not accepting dresses until September. Must be newer than 2010, message pictures and details in September .

Only wedding gowns newer than 2010 will be considered. Private message with at least three photos of the dress. I am located in Lee County and generally meet people at the courthouse. Thanks

We are currently not accepting wedding gowns. We have donated angel gowns to every facility needing them that we are aware of. We have boxes of them at our houses. If you know of a place that needs and wants them please message us. Thank you to everyone who has followed us, donated, prayed for us. Tiffany donated the angel gowns from her wedding dress to Phoebe Putney hospital in Albany Ga, in memory of her precious baby girl. Another set of gowns and wraps are on the way to Heritage Funeral Home, in Warner Robins, by way of Leigh. Thank you to all who donated, helped with getting gowns to various places needing them, and praying for me and this outreach. Currently, I am not accepting wedding dresses until September. Then, private message and I will let you know if the dress will be usable for this purpose. Have a blessed summer. Debra

We are honored to hear of so many of you considering donating a wedding gown!
We ask that you private message pictures of front and back of the gown. No gowns older than twenty years will accepted.
We do not use crinolines, veils or other accessories. We also ask that donated gowns are clean. We no longer try to wash , dry, iron dresses. Do not mail in preservation box, the cost is too high, and the cardboard is not usable.
No wedding dress but want to help?
Double sided 3/8" white satin ribbon, white thread, machine needles size 11 -14, are gratefully accepted. Thank you for your giving heart and we hope to hear from you if you decide to donate!💜.

I would like to say a big thank you to Debra Smith. My partner this. She has. Been a blessing. By the way this is kathy I had a scare several months ago that I had sever aneurysm in my brain. I have recently went to the Nuroligist who. Specialist in this. He told me what was there has not grown are moved in 6 years so. I was told nothing to worry about. With that said I should start back on this sometime the first of the year. Thanks for all y’all patience.

Candice, these are some of the wraps, kimonos, and angel gowns from your dress last year. There were over two dozen items sewn. I believe these were in the donations we did last fall. Currently, we are not accepting gowns and are looking for establishments that need them. We have supplied them within a 75 mile radius of Leesburg, Ga.
