SZN 11 EP 7 - Mark, A Bay Area Police Officer Who Founded ‘Battle Worn Foundation’ / Resiliency Program for FR&MIL in Montana / Family Over Your Career Always / Loss of Fellow FR to Su***de

The Overwatch Collective 🎙️

Thank you Mark from Battle Worn Foundation for joining T.O.C.’s podcast to talk about the common mistakes we see in the first responder & military community regarding mental health. After losing one of his best friends to su***de, Mark came to realize that he can make a difference in normalizing mental health challenges in our community and came up with a great resource!
We discussed how department’s set our community up to put the agency before our family’s needs, losing friends to su***de, importance of peer to peer support, and a full breakdown of Battle Worn Foundation.

Mission: Reduce Su***des At All Costs

At T.O.C., our motto is One More is One Less. If all the podcasts, events, outreach, and everything else that we do saves just one life, then mission success.

Our specialty is getting our community connected to our contracted therapists quickly while maintaining confidentiality with financial assistance provided.

What we love, is working with other organizations that offer great resources for our community. We are confident that if a first responder or service members needs anything, we can get them pointed in the right direction. It truly is a collective effort!!

Reach out to your buddies and check in on them. If you haven’t gone through therapy or any other resources and found it helpful, we need you to speak up as that helps normalize reaching out for help.

One More is One Less.

SZN 11 EP 6 - Kenneth Stevenson / Made It To Retirement & Then BOOM, Sh*t Hit The Fan / Emergency Therapy Session / 28 Yrs Probation in NorCal / Message For First Responders & Military

The Overwatch Collective 🎙️

A huge thank you to Kenneth for coming on the podcast as he’s made it his mission to talk about how he compartmentalized so much trauma over his career and had to deal with it a few month after retirement.

Like many, Kenneth worked hard in Probation for 28 years working primarily in crimes against children. After experience drug overdoses, su***des, and more, Kenneth hit that retirement mark and thought it would be a smooth ride. After three short months, everything caught up to him and needed an emergency therapy session to work on everything he suppressed over the course of his career.

Tune in to learn about Kenneth’s career and some great advice for our community.

Dream Come True! A huge thank you to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels for accepting The Overwatch Collective to get the Media Ride for 2026 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Greg’s dream has always been to fly in a fighter jet, specifically with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Still in awe that this dream actually came true. A special thank you to Greg’s wife, Robyn, for starting the process for Greg to apply and pitch T.O.C. and our mission.

Greg’s family flew out from California for this experience in addition to his father in law and members of the Lafayette Police Dept traffic unit.

To Lt. Hafeza, Blue Angel #7, THANK YOU for making my dream come true, for such a good flight, and dealing with me laughing and screaming in your ear.

We are looking forward to the 5 minute and 10 minute video to drop. Stay tuned for them on social media and YouTube.

You can’t fully understand the experience until you see it for yourself. 🇺🇸🦅🔥

There are moments that leave you speechless.Moments you wait years for.

And moments that remind you just how powerful service, sacrifice, and brotherhood truly are.

For Greg Grogan, President of The Overwatch Collective, getting to fly with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels was a dream come true.

But what made the experience even more meaningful was knowing what it represents.

At The Overwatch Collective, our mission is simple: to stand behind those who have spent their lives standing watch for all of us.

We believe our veterans, military members, first responders, and their families deserve access to the support they need — not just while they serve, but long after the uniform comes off.

This is just another glimpse into Greg’s incredible experience.

🎥 The full story is coming.

And trust us… you’re going to want to see it.

Follow The Overwatch Collective and stay tuned.

The ride was unforgettable. The mission is even bigger. 🇺🇸

Some experiences are once in a lifetime! 🇺🇸🦅

For Greg Grogan, President & Co-Founder of The Overwatch Collective, this was more than an incredible opportunity to highlight The Overwatch Collective’s commitment to support the mental health and well-being of our nation’s military and first responders.

It was a dream come true.

Getting the chance to ride with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and share about T.O.C. is something Greg will never forget — and now, he’s taking us along for the ride.

And this video is just the beginning.

🎥 More videos, including the full story is coming soon.

From the cockpit to the moments you don’t see on the highlight reel, we’ll be sharing the experience, the emotions, and the story behind a day Greg has dreamed about.
