✨Auction Spotlight!✨

Upper Crust Bakery Ultimate Home Bread Baker Experience and Dinner:

This four-hour hands-on class at Upper Crust Bakery in Davis will provide an introduction to the basic
concepts and techniques of artisan bread baking including baker’s math, baking terminology,
formula development, mixing, and shaping. Students will learn how to think like a professional baker
at home, gain experience with a variety of flours and grains, and bake their own bread in our
commercial baking facility. Includes a house-made pizza dinner at the Upper Crust Bakery!

The class will take place on a pre-scheduled Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (dinner time is
not included in the 4 hours of instruction). Suitable for adults and their children ages 16 years or
older!

Learn about masa from a master. Chef Patricio Wise and Cinthia Martinez-Wise, owners of Nixtaco, will host up to 12 guests at Nixtaco Roseville for a masa cooking demonstration and fun meal. The experience includes appetizers, a welcome drink, and various dishes such as tacos and sopes.

A 4-night stay at the home of your hosts Rachael Levine and Mitch Murri, in the Spanish seaside community of Almuñécar. The home is located on a bluff that overlooks the Mediterranean.

Rachael, who chaired The Village Feast for seven years, and her husband, Mitch, recently moved to Spain, where they are building a hospitality company that includes a boutique hotel and restaurant. You will have your own room with a king-sized bed and private bathroom. Join us for a light Spanish-style breakfast on the balcony and take a dip in our private pool!
