Bullying is aggressive behavior. It occurs when a child is targeted by one or more youth with repeated negative actions over a period of time. These are intentional attempts to cause discomfort or injury and can include name-calling, obscene gesturing, malicious teasing, exclusion, threats, rumors, physical hitting, kicking, pushing and choking. Cyber-bullying is also a real and growing problem today. Make no mistake: bullying of any kind is a form of violence that should not be tolerated. Sometimes, we hear negative words so often that we begin to believe them. We carry those words with us and allow them to shape the way we see ourselves. But someone else’s opinion of you is NOT a measurement of your worth.
You are more than the mistakes you’ve made. You are more than the way your body looks. You are more than someone else’s expectations, criticism, or disappointment.
There is a difference between what someone has said about you and who you truly are.
You are worthy of love. You are worthy of kindness. You are worthy of respect. You are worthy of believing in yourself.
So when that negative voice tells you that you’re not enough, pause and question it. Who told you that? And why should their words become your truth?

Good friends encourage your growth, speak the truth with kindness, celebrate your wins, and help carry your burdens. Life is richer because of the people who choose to walk through it with us. The chapters we'd rather erase don't disappear just because we avoid them—they quietly shape us from the shadows. The truth is, our stories are not just made of mistakes, heartbreak, and setbacks. They're also made of resilience, growth, and every choice we made to keep going. The moment we stop running is the moment we begin writing the next chapter with intention instead of fear.
