Lake George is known for its mountains, its lake, and this weekend - some Dynamite!

The Dartmouth Dynamites 14U are headed to Afrim’s ADK Fields for a weekend of softball in one of New York’s most beautiful destinations. With three pool play games on Saturday and bracket play on Sunday, the girls are ready to take on the competition and enjoy everything Lake George has to offer.

Saturday’s pool play matchups:
-2:15 PM vs. Empire Athletes Gold
-4:00 PM vs. NE Hurricanes
-5:45 PM vs. Cyclones

The Dartmouth Dynamites 10U headed north to Lowell last weekend to compete in the Porky’s First Roast Tournament, and while Saturday’s results weren’t what they hoped for, these girls showed exactly what Dynamites softball is all about.

Facing some of the tournament’s toughest competition, the girls finished pool play 0-3, with losses coming against teams that would eventually make deep tournament runs. But instead of hanging their heads, they dug deep, stayed positive, and came back Sunday ready to prove that one day’s results don’t define a team.

Entering bracket play as the #12 seed, the Dynamites came out swinging and knocked off the #5 seed Fearless Teal in an exciting 12-9 victory! The girls followed that up with a hard-fought battle against the #4 seed Future Noles, coming up just short by a score of 9-5.

On a weekend dedicated to celebrating dads and father figures, our players showed the resilience, determination, and heart that make everyone proud to cheer them on. More importantly, they made memories, supported one another, and grew stronger as a team.

Great job, girls! We’re already looking forward to seeing the Dynamites back in action at home in just two weeks for the Dartmouth Summer Blast! 💚🥎
