Properties of the MCHS include the Montgomery House, The Boyd House and the Mooresburg School House.

As we wrap up 2026 Sunday tours, we’ll still be at the museum working on projects.

🎉 Congratulations to our friend Terry Diener!

The Montour County Historical Society congratulates Terry on being named a Pennsylvania Window Keeper by PA Humanities!

This well-deserved honor recognizes his dedication to preserving and sharing the history and stories of Montour County and the Susquehanna Valley.

🍂 There’s Still Time to Visit! 🍂

Our 2026 museum season is wrapping up in October, but the Montgomery House and Boyd House museums remain open every Sunday from 1–4 PM through October 25.

Come take a walk through Montour County’s fascinating past before the season ends. Sunday, October 25, will be our final public tour day of 2026.

Private tours are still available at all three locations.

Thank you to everyone who has visited, volunteered and supported the Montour County Historical Society this year. You help us keep Montour County’s memories alive! ❤️🏛️
