Meet Kristyn! Kristyn first joined Dwell with Dignity as a volunteer in 2017 and joined our staff in 2022 as our Community Projects Designer. In her role, she designs beautiful spaces for schools and nonprofits across North Texas, helping them better serve their communities.
Kristyn's story is the first in our new Work Behind the Welcome series. Before we can welcome our partners and families into their new spaces, a lot happens behind the scenes. This series takes you behind the scenes to meet the people who make it happen!
"It's impossible to pick a favorite project, but a few that stand out are Community Does It, my very first community project; BOMLA's library, resource, and podcast rooms for Dallas ISD; and In My Shoes— we're on our third project with them! I'll always remember our project with Overcomers and Women That Soar because the recipient was so deserving and grateful.
I truly love what I do and the opportunity to help people experience dignity through design."
