The Mobility Impaired blind out at Raft was in need of some love. The old ramp was broken and there wasn’t a handrail. There’s still a lot of improvements we’d like to make to that blind but at least hunters will have a safer means of entering the blind this winter. We also widened the opening to accommodate some side by sides. Many of the newer side by sides with roof rack accessories won’t fit, so be sure and plan accordingly. Special thanks to the AGFC for giving us the chance to help.

That’s the sign of the end of the day. We are so proud to have had the chance to complete these projects. Thank the Lord for another great day.

We are very proud to be working on the youth and mobility impaired blinds at Raft Creek WMA. It’s opportunities like these that show Arkansas that us regular folks can and will help out when needed. Don’t gripe about the problems if you won’t put up the time to try and help get a solution. Contact us for information to help out.

Last week, we had the opportunity to assist the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with a hack and sq**rt treatment targeting Tree of Heaven, an invasive tree that can spread aggressively and compete with native vegetation.

Efforts like these are an important part of managing our public lands, protecting native habitats, and preserving the places we all enjoy.

Stewardship goes beyond picking up trash. It’s about putting in the work to leave our public lands better than we found them. We are grateful for the opportunity to help the USFWS with this project.

Project Leader Eli Freppon spent some time late evening cleaning up Felsenthal. “The cypress trees with Spanish moss are one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Makes me want to keep the dang trash out of it even more!” We agree Eli. God’s creation wasn’t meant to be trashed.

The first batch of Bibles has arrived for the Rhett Carter Memorial Bible Fund.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who donated to this cause. Y’all truly went above and beyond, and because of your generosity, these Bibles will now find their way into the hands of people who need them.

We know these Bibles will make an impact, but more importantly, they will continue Rhett’s legacy by putting God’s Word in the hands of others.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. We couldn’t have done it without you.
