In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. and his lasting legacy of equality, justice, and service, we are giving back in his name.
On Monday, 15% of all sales will be donated to the Lexington Black Prosperity Initiative through the Bluegrass Community Foundation, supporting efforts that uplift and strengthen Black communities.

We open at 8am!
Our kitchen serves hot, made-to-order meals until 2pm, and the cafe open until 5pm.

✨ Grateful Hearts & Community Wins ✨

Yesterday morning we gathered for a beautiful end-of-year breakfast at The Sweet Boutique — a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate all that Harrison County Community Fund was able to accomplish in 2025. The conversations, the gratitude, and the shared pride in what our community has done together reminded us just how powerful collective generosity truly is.

To everyone who gave in 2025 — thank you. Every project completed, every initiative supported, and every life touched happened because of you. This work simply does not exist without the generosity of our community.

One thing that makes our fund especially meaningful to us is this: 100% of our board members give to the fund themselves. We believe deeply in what we steward, and we choose to personally invest in the same mission we ask others to support. It’s our way of standing behind the work — not just in words, but in action.

And a reminder that every donation matters — whether it’s $5, $10, $25, or $1,000. Impact isn’t measured by the size of the gift, but by the heart behind it and the collective force it creates when we give together.

Bluegrass Gives is our region’s annual online day of giving hosted by Blue Grass Community Foundation. For 18 hours, thousands of Kentuckians come together to support the nonprofits that make our communities stronger, safer, more vibrant, and more connected.

💙 It’s all about celebrating generosity, uplifting local organizations, and keeping resources right here at home in Central & Appalachia Kentucky.

🌾 Standing Together Against Hunger in Harrison County 🌾

The Harrison County Community Fund recognizes the growing food crisis our neighbors are facing this season. The reduction in SNAP benefits has caused a dramatic rise in local food insecurity — with area food banks already seeing record numbers in November and anticipating even greater need in December.

To help meet this challenge, the Harrison County Community Fund has committed $10,000 in support, divided among three vital partners serving our community every week:

🤝 Helping Hands Food Bank (120 S. Walnut St., open Tuesdays & Thursdays 11 AM–4 PM, 859-235-4673)
🤝 Cynthiana Baptist Church – Life Center (115 N. Church St., open Fridays 11 AM–3 PM, 859-234-1575)
🤝 Cynthiana-Harrison County Food Pantry (304 N. Locust St., open Wednesdays 12 PM–3 PM, 859-234-6817)

We know that our gift alone cannot solve the crisis — but we hope it inspires others to join in. Whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading awareness, every effort helps feed a family and restore hope.

Thank you to all that attended our fundraising event yesterday!! We are on our way to our one million dollar goal and YOU are a part of that! ✨❤️

A massive thank you goes to our local artists from that set up a booth at the event & donated so generously towards our auctioned-off items! Your art has such an amazing impact on our rural community and we were honored to have you there.

We are so thrilled to continue to become a larger and larger part of the local community, and we thank YOU for all donors you send our way.
