Did you stop by the MREA booth at Intersolar & Energy Storage Midwest?

It was great connecting with so many solar and energy storage professionals throughout the event. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with MREA's Celia Sweet and Greta Ladenthin about training, workforce development, and the future of clean energy.

The conference also featured a full day of technical workshops, including two sessions led by MREA instructors: Cybersecurity: Securing Energy Systems (PV 130) with Nick Matthes and PV System O&M Fundamentals (PV 425) with Emmitt Muckles.

Connecting students, skills, and solar careers ☀️

This spring, the MREA partnered with Employment Connection of St. Louis to deliver hands-on solar training designed to introduce participants to careers in the growing renewable energy industry. Through interactive learning, solar labs, and real-world instruction, trainees gained technical knowledge, built confidence, and explored new career opportunities in clean energy.

We’re proud to work with organizations like Employment Connection that are helping break down barriers to self-sufficiency and create pathways into the clean energy workforce.
