Idaho elk season is OPEN. 🏹🦌🇺🇸

We’re headed deep into the Idaho backcountry with two deserving veterans, chasing elk, breathing mountain air, and making the kind of memories that last long after the hunt is over.

This is what Veterans Sportsman Alliance is all about — getting veterans back outdoors, building camaraderie, and sharing experiences that remind us just how powerful wild places can be.

IDAHO ARCHERY ELK OPENER. 🏹🦌

Boots on the ground and headed deep into Idaho’s backcountry.

We’re on the trail of a bull, but this is about so much more than filling a tag.
It’s about getting disabled veterans back into the wild — experiencing the challenge, freedom, camaraderie and healing that come from time outdoors.

This is why we do what we do. 🇺🇸

The season is open. The mission is on. Let’s go.

Bear hunt success in the Idaho backcountry. 🇺🇸🌲🐻

This one came with the full reality of hunting wild country — tracking, patience, effort, and the unpredictability that comes with being in wolf country. 🐾

Before the team could recover the bear, wolves had already gotten to it. Tough to see, but also part of the hunt, part of the chase, and part of respecting the wild places we’re fortunate to experience. 🙏

Grateful for the veterans, guides, and supporters who make these moments possible — memories made, stories earned, and another day in Idaho’s rugged outdoors.

A great day at Schwartz Sturgeon Pond with our Idaho veterans—reeling in sturgeon, sharing stories, enjoying BBQ, and making memories on the water. 🎣🇺🇸

These prehistoric fish made for an unforgettable day, but the real catch was the connection, camaraderie, and time spent outdoors together.
