Gotta Run Kids Confidence. Camaraderie. Grit. Building strong kids one mile at a time. 🏃🏃‍♀️ Ages K - 8th grade. Based in Forsyth County, Georgia.

Gotta Run Kids is a co-ed youth running program. We offer two programs: 5k program (3rd-8th grade) and 1 mile program (K-2nd grade). The 5k program will develop and encourage children of all running abilities to progress from their current level of fitness to being able to complete a 5k race at the conclusion of the program. By reaching small milestones throughout the course of the program, the ch

ildren's self-confidence will increase in tandem with their ability to run further distances and improve their times. The 1 Mile club is a 6-week program which incorporates games into running. They finish the session with a 1-mile race.

Today we celebrate RUNNING - a sport that connects US to people from all over the world!

Did you know that HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of people run worldwide?! Pretty cool to be in the “in crowd” right? 😉

Whether you’re running your first lap, your first 5K, or chasing a new PR - remember that you a part of a HUGE running community - or as we like to say - a running family!

What a fun night at . The weather threatened to make a mess of things - but runners don’t scare easily and after a rain delay - we got down to business! It was a lot of fun seeing all ages out on the track. It was a first for me – as I got to see some of our alumni running side-by-side with our current runners! What an experience for our younger runners to be able to take a peek into their future, by seeing Great Strides runners (who are now in high school or college!) compete against or cheer on others. Seeing the coaches and all the kids - felt a bit like a reunion party! This was a LOT of fun and hopefully next year we can do it again ?!
