Light Up Crofton is TONIGHT! We are so excited that Mother Nature has joined our celebration with some festive snowfall! The luminaries are going to be beautiful glowing along the snow. Make sure to take photos of your winter wonderland and post here or tag

A few tips and reminders
1. Clear your curbs or sidewalks so the luminaries can be seen.
2. Use fireplace matches or long-nose lighters to light the candles.
4. Try to have your candles lit by 5:30pm. They are 10-hr candles, so the flame should last.
5. If you can, move your cars off the street so your luminaries can be seen! Ask your neighbors to move their cars too.
6. Be careful driving since there will be lots of slow-moving cars and pedestrians at night.

Thank you Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce for helping us spread the word!

Join Scouts BSA Troop 758 for the 6th annual Light Up Crofton on Sunday, December 14th when we transform our neighborhoods into a beautiful winter community! Be part of this community tradition of lighting up our neighborhoods with candle luminaries.

Each kit contains supplies for 10 luminaries: 10 white bags & 2” votive candles, sand, and instructions. Participating families line the curb in front of their homes, stairs, driveways, and walkways.
This event is organized by Scout Troop 758. We also accept donations to place luminaries in common areas (neighborhood entrances, etc.).

We will be selling kits tomorrow at the Crofton Holiday Tree Lighting. We hope to see you there!

Crofton Holiday Tree Lighting & Santa Visit will be hosted by the CCA on Wednesday, December 3rd, at the Crofton Country Club. Join us at 6:00 PM out front for caroling with the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Choir, Tree Lighting, and Santa’s arrival aboard an Arundel Volunteer Fire truck. Santa will then be escorted inside to meet the children.

Everyone can enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and make-and-take crafts while you wait to visit Santa. There will be balloon artists and holiday music by Pocket Change.

We will be accepting donations on behalf of the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department. Also, Crofton’s Boy Scout Troop 758 will be selling luminary kits that evening for display on December 12th.
