Somewhere off Wakulla Beach there’s a manatee saying, “I swear I cut carbs.”

Moral of the story? It’s not a dad bod… it’s a marine mammal physique.

And listen… it’s springtime in Crawfordville. He’s not bulking for winter —
he’s just retaining water. 💦😅

😅 Wakulla County Real Estate Update

Look… we know.
Nobody asked for more people.
Nobody asked for more neighborhoods.
And yet… here we are 🤷🏻‍♂️

📊 December numbers for Crawfordville:
🏡 56 homes sold (yep… they’re still buying)
💰 Median price: $315,600
🏠 Inventory: 170 homes (somebody’s future “used to be woods”)
🆕 55 new listings
⏳ 32 homes went under contract

Translation?
People keep saying “I don’t want Wakulla to grow”
…but buyers keep saying “So where do I sign?”

The good news 👉 growth has slowed, prices are steady, and the market isn’t wild like it was a few years ago.
The bad news 👉 you might have a new neighbor who doesn’t know what “country quiet” means yet 😬

Whether you’re trying to cash out before the next subdivision, or sneak in before prices climb again, strategy matters right now.

This, my friends, is classic North Florida.
You can sunburn on Sunday and scrape ice off your windshield by Tuesday 😂
