Last night our volunteers took a little break from their projects to welcome our friends Jenna and Marlena and celebrate the success of our first pillow drive hosted by Keller Williams Premier. The goal: 50 new-in-package pillows. The delivery: 139! We’re so grateful for their support and are excited to share these fabulous resources with the families we serve.

It’s so fun when we get to share donated resources with other nonprofits. Last week we received a text from our friends at a well-known, national retail store. They wanted to make an anonymous donation of supplies to benefit local food pantries, and they needed a little help. So hearts+homes picked up the donation in our trusty box truck and distributed it to five local food pantries and nonprofits. We were so blessed to help the NJ Rise Food Pantry, the PAC Benevolence Ministry, Skeet’s Pantry at First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and the Puerto Rican Community Center in Trenton. The power of partnerships. 🩷

This is our 6th year participating in Red Day (Renew, Energize, Donate) with our friends at Keller Williams Premier. Now thru May 13, they are generously hosting a Pillow Drive for us, collecting new, in-package, sleeping pillows for the families we serve. Price point at Kohls and Walmart is only $10. Drop-off locations are the Robbinsville Keller Williams office at 2370 Rt. 33, #101 in Robbinsville, and hearts+homes at 30 N Main in Cranbury (Mon, Tues, Thurs). No time to shop? You can conveniently Venmo $10 (see details below), and Keller Williams will do the shopping for you. We’re so grateful for their support and yours, too! Thank you. 🩷

We are just a few weeks away from and are so excited to host our first Pillow Drive to support one of our amazing partners hearts+homes who furnish fresh starts for local families. I am committing to donate a pillow for each client we serve through May 14th and we want to invite friends of Cornerstone Realty Group to give the gift of comfort and rest as well by donating a new, packaged bed pillow. All week long we’ve been celebrating National Volunteer Appreciation Week. Cake and cookies (because food is our love language), hugs and thank-you’s (although we can never fully express how much we love them). So grateful for each one. 🩷
