Looking for fall baseball options? See two options below:

1. Rally Ball will be held for 6th-8th grade at Bob Kiefer Center in Springfield! Sign up by Sept 2nd pay on Sept 6th. All games are on Sunday from September 6 through October 25th. See QR code below.

2. Baseball is also available this fall at the WVBR Complex with a Eugene/Springfield team. If interested, message CG Babe Ruth so we can pass on info.

The parade was awesome!!

Thank you to the CG community for supporting the Cottage Grove Babe Ruth Lions!! Over seventy families pulled together this 2026 season, with many volunteers.

Many thank yous to the Billy Ferrell family for the great looking float and all the volunteers that stepped up today.

We had a blast, so join us next year!!

The parade is tomorrow! We are so excited to have our kids participate!

Quick reminders -
The Parade route and staging area are different this year.

Arrive between 9:15-9:30AM on 5th Street (between Main and 99) to line up.

Parade starts at 10:00AM.

The Parade will travel east on Main through Historic Downtown and end on Gateway.

After the parade, we will return the players to the staging area on 5th St. to reunite with families.

Players please wear your Lions gear (jersey, hats, etc.)

All participant's parents/guardians must sign the attached waiver before their child can participate (This can be signed at the staging area).

Time for another well-deserved thank you!!

Today’s spotlight is on Shawna Spear for her phenomenal fundraising efforts!

Shawna and her team pulled in over $5,980 for field banners and corporate donations. She made dozens of phone calls and visits to business owners.

These funds helped pay for much needed baseball equipment, field maintenance expenses and league fees.

Cottage Grove Babe Ruth League thrives thanks to our incredible volunteers that include parents, family members, and coaches who maintain our fields, lead our fundraisers, and coach our kids.

Cottage Grove Babe Ruth League thrives thanks to our incredible volunteers that include parents, family members, and coaches who maintain our fields and lead our fundraisers.

Today, we’re spotlighting Amanda Ferrell for her outstanding fundraising efforts! Amanda (and her volunteer team) organized a cookie-dough sale that raised over $2,300.

These funds helped pay for the end-of-season Home Run Derby and will fully cover our upcoming BMD Parade float.

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a safe and fun Fourth of July. Just a reminder that our Drifters Babe Ruth night is THIS Friday, July 10 at Hamlin Sports Complex in Springfield!

We hope to see all of your coaches, players, and families there. All players and coaches will receive FREE General Admission (don't forget to wear your uniform) and be recognized on the field before the game with the opportunity to meet the players as well! We encourage everyone to register their teams using the link below.

Event Details:
All Babe Ruth players and coaches will receive free General Admission to the game (uniforms/jerseys are recommended!)
Teams/areas will have the opportunity to be recognized on the field before the game.
Teams will have special opportunities to interact with Drifters players, get autographs, participate in on-field contests, and win prizes.

Schedule:
5:30pm - Gates open
5:45pm (at latest) - Team organization on the grass baseball field
6:10pm - Pregame ceremony begins
6:35pm - First pitch
