Women at the Well Minstries of PA/The Well Recovery Home We are a faith based residential recovery home for women struggling in addiction. The final phase of our program is graduation!

The Well Residential Recovery Home is a branch ministry of Women at the Well Ministries of PA. We are a Christ-centered, 12-month transformational residential recovery home for women 18 years and older. It is our mission to serve and help women who are struggling with life-controlling issues and addictions find freedom and healing through the power of Jesus Christ. We welcome every woman who steps

through our doors and offer a loving, safe, and structured, home - a place where you will feel like family. Our number one goal is to give you the necessary tools to find freedom from past addictions and struggles through the power of Christ and help you successfully transition back into your own community. We do this by offering personalized educational and vocational classes - helping you discover your God-given gifts, talents, and passions. We then help you develop those passions into the skills needed for your future employment and life. We also offer one-on-one and group discipleship programs, community service opportunities, valuable life and job skills, and opportunities to develop healthy habits that will contribute to your overall wellness for mind, body, and spirit. Today is about more than just getting a driver’s license. It’s about freedom, growth, and proof of how far God can bring someone when they surrender their life to Him.

Watching this young woman reach this milestone while working the Women at the well recovery program is such a beautiful reminder that recovery is about rebuilding every part of your life — one step, one prayer, and one victory at a time. What once may have felt impossible is now becoming reality through God’s grace, hard work, and perseverance.

A driver’s license may seem small to some people, but in recovery it represents responsibility, independence, restored confidence, and a future full of hope. God is still in the business of restoring lives, and this is just another testimony of His faithfulness. We are so proud of you Paige!!!

The DuBois Rotary Club recently welcomed guest speakers Kara Kennemuth and Joni Goodwill, the Executive Director and Office Manager, respectively, of Women at the Well Ministries of PA, located at 306 Main Street in Corsica. The Women at the Well is faith, love, and truth based. The Well Recovery Home, a vital piece of the Women at the Well Ministries, is a faith-based residential addiction recovery program for women who are 18 years or older that offers residents everything they would need during their recovery such as clothing, toiletries, housing and more. They offer a transformational 4-phase program that takes 12 months to complete.

While some women may feel lost, hopeless, or stagnant in their addiction, the Women at the Well offer support, healing, and guidance to better the women who seek help. Not only do the life coaches and staff help women overcome their past, but they also dig into the root causes of the underlying struggles while guiding the women in the program in a new journey centered towards restoration and hope.

The Well Recovery Home offers a multitude of tools to their women to further advance their recovery. Some of these include safe housing and transportation, recovery education, financial guidance, and job placement assistance.

The Women at the Well also recently opened a thrift store, Well Dressed Thrift Boutique, that offers gently used women’s clothing, accessories, and some household items to the community. Residents of The Women at the Well run the boutique to acquire valuable life and vocational skills. This allows residents to learn, grow, contribute, and feel a renewed sense of purpose.

Each week, we’ve been taking the girls on hikes to prepare for upcoming overnight backpacking adventures. We did this a year and a half ago in West Virginia and it was truly an amazing experience!
